A weather front delayed the start of racing on day three of the six-day regatta, before British duo Luke Patience and Stuart Bithell moved top of the rankings with victory in the 470 class race ahead of fellow countrymen Nic Asher and Elliot Willis.
Penny Clark and Katrina Hughes to victory by a minute in the women's only race of the day, ahead of team-mates Sarah Ayton and Saskia Clark.
Clark and Hughes moved up to second overall after five races, despite Hughes falling into the water moments into Wednesday's race.
“On the first reach I had a little bit of a swim!” the 21-year-old said.  “Somehow I hadn’t managed to hook on to my trapeze elastic as well as my hook or something, and it ended up snapping.
“Fortunately I managed to grab it on the way down and only got dragged for a little bit before I managed to scramble back in the boat so we didn’t really lose too much.  We had quite a big lead from picking our way well up the first beat.”
“It was all about trying to find the pressure today, so on the first beat we were looking out for the cloud, figuring out how that was going to affect it,” Clark added. “That gave us a really good lead and then down the first run the same thing, looking for the pressure.

“It was just a case of racing smart and just not doing anything stupid to stay there, so we’re pretty pleased!"
Giles Scott - who had enjoyed a perfect start to the World Cup regatta over its opening two days - finally slipped up in Wednesday's only Finn fleet race, earning an OCS disqualification after being called over the startline early on.
Scott finished ahead of the rest of the fleet - which included fellow Brits Ben Ainslie and Andrew Mills in eighth and 16th respectively - and remains top of the overall leaderboard with four wins and a disqualification from his five races.
British pair John Pink and Rick Peacock maintained their table-topping form in the 49er class, and sit a single point ahead of team-mates Dave Evans and Ed Powys.
Paul Brotherton and Mark Asquith, also from team GBR, sit third.
