Olympic silver medallist Daniela Iraschko-Stolz registered her first ski jumping World Cup victory of the season in Sapporo.
The Austrian veteran finished just 0.5 points ahead of Germany’s Juliane Seyfarth, as she scored 200.4 to win the 14th World Cup title of her career.
Her leaps of 127m and 121.5m guided her to victory, as she moved up to fourth in the World Cup standings after seven events.
Iraschko-Stolz, 35, said: "I'm very satisfied with my result, it's my first victory this season. I love this hill, it's fun to fly here and if there's headwind you can jump really far."
Norway’s Maren Lundby took third place, guided by her monster second jump of 135m, the furthest of any athlete in the competition.
The result leaves Germany’s Katharina Althaus, who settled for fourth in Japan, leading the overall World Cup standings with 450 points ahead of Lundby (380) and Seyfarth (296).
