Barry Hawkins produced some scintillating snooker as he beat Liang Wenbo 6-1 to make the final of the World Grand Prix final in Preston.
Hawkins, who beat Neil Robertson at the quarter-final stage, compiled a break of 51 on his way to opening up a two-frame advantage but Wenbo cut the arrears with a 68.
However, it quickly turned into a rout as 2013 world championship runner up Hawkins rattled off breaks of 106, 92, 57 and 120 to claim the next four frames on the bounce.
The Hawk will now face either Marco Fu or Ryan Day in Sunday’s final.
