Kyren Wilson warmed up for his trip to the Masters in London next week by completing three straight wins to lead Group 2 on the third day of the invitational Championship League event in Leicester. Wilson will aim to join Group 1 winner Stuart Bingham by booking his spot in the final stages of the tournament on Friday before he meets Masters holder Judd Trump on Tuesday afternoon.

Who has won the major titles in snooker this season?

Kyren Wilson enjoyed three straight wins on Thursday to set the pace at the summit of Championship League Group 2 in Leicester.
The 2020 world finalist lost 3-0 to Group 1 winner Stuart Bingham in the last four of the opening group phase at the Morningside Arena on Wednesday, but quickly rediscovered his form with wins over Mark Selby (3-1), Matthew Selt (3-1) and Chris Waklen (3-0).
Selby, Selt and Ali Carter joined Group 2 alongside the highest-placed players from Group 1 in Ryan Day, Gary Wilson, Kyren Wilson and Chris Wakelin.
Four-time world champion Selby enjoyed a 3-1 win over Day before producing a 115 break in a 3-1 victory over Gary Wilson in his home city to remain in the hunt for a spot in the Group 2 semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Carter completed 3-0 wins over Gary Wilson and Day that included a majestic 142, but lost 3-0 to former Shoot Out winner Wakelin, who picked up his second win of the day with a 3-0 success against Selt.
Selt finished a 3-2 win over Day with a 109 knock.
Seven players face each other in the group stage with the top four players from each group progressing to the play-offs.
The champion from each group progresses to the winners' group on March 1 and 2, with the other top four players continuing to Group 2 as the bottom two players are eliminated at the end of each group.
The winner of the Championship League earns a spot in the Champion of Champions later this year.
The Masters starts at Alexandra Palace on January 7, with world champion Luca Brecel opening up against Jack Lisowski.
