Ding records 147 at PTC11

The Chinese sensation scored his maximum in the final frame of 4-1 first round victory over James Cahill. Ding then went on to beat Liam Highfield 4-0 in round two before defeating Stephen Hendry 4-2 in the last 32.

It was Ding's second maximum within three days, and he will hope to continue his fine form against Anthony Hamilton in the last 16.

Elsewhere, Michael Holt continued his impressive form to set up a last 16 meeting with Matthew Stevens. Holt has been unstoppable in recent PTC events. He won PTC 10 and he also won through the first three rounds of PTC 12 which have already been played.

The other two last 16 meeting set up on Saturday will see Martin Gould face Simon Bedford and Stephen Maguire take on Mark Davies.

The bottom half of the draw will play to the last 16 stage on Sunday.
