Neil Robertson breezed into the German Masters quarter-finals with a crushing 5-0 victory over fellow former world champion Stuart Bingham.

2010 world champion Robertson was utterly dominant against the 2015 Crucible winner Bingham, who contributed only 71 points in a forgettable afternoon in Berlin's Tempodrom.
Robertson opened with a 75 and finished with back-to-back centuries of 110 and 104, but there was to be no quarter-final meeting with Mark Selby after the world number one was knocked out by David Gilbert.
GIlbert secured a 139 break to level at 1-1, and then rallied from 3-1 down to win four of the next five frames to send Selby crashing out.
Robertson is chasing a first victory in the German capital. His best came in 2013 when he lost 6-2 to winner Ali Carter in the semi-finals, but he looks to be in the form to claim the £80,000 top prize.
2014 German Masters champion Ding Junhui survived a thriller with compatriot Xiao Guodong to reach the last eight with a 5-4 win.
World number 25 Xiao opened with a break of 67 only for Ding to run in breaks of 74, 128 and 57 to lead 4-1.
Xiao responded with knocks of 102 and 75 on his way to restoring parity at 4-4 before Ding closed out the match with a run of 68 in the decider - Ding faces Duane Jones in the last eight after he won 5-3 against Yuan SiJun.

Meanwhile, John Higgins said he was not bothered after appearing to be the victim of a referee's blunder in his 5-4 defeat to teenager Yuan Sijun in the last 32 on Thursday.
Sijun potted the final black with the rest to claim victory, but forgot to take the rest off the table as the white ran on before hitting it amid the Chinese player's celebrations.
The referee clearly missed the incident with the players already shaking hands and departing the arena none the wiser.

Yuan Sijun pots winning black, but should referee have called a foul?
The official rules state that the shot is not dead until the white stops rolling. If the referee had spotted the incident, he would have penalised 18-year-old Yuan and ordered a re-spotted black.
Four-times world champion Higgins was unaware of the incident, but told Eurosport on Friday: "Young Yuan fully deserved his win. I'm not bothered about it."
