Martin Gould stunned Ronnie O'Sullivan to win the final of the Power Snooker Masters at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
World number 16 came from behind to beat O'Sullivan 286-258 in a gripping final, with O'Sullivan charging into a lead of over 150 points before Gould hit back to win - though not before The Rocket had blown a chance of victory.
O'Sullivan had earlier produced the performance of the tournament in his semi-final against Australia's Neil Robertson, scoring an astonishing 519 points against Robertson's 157.
Gould, by contrast, had edged a thriller against world number one Mark Selby, beating the Jester from Leicester 253-246 in a match which could have gone either way until the final few seconds.
O'Sullivan had also survived a nailbiter in his quarter-final, beating Graeme Dott 185-182 in one of the lowest-scoring matches of the week.
