Jack Lisowski will swap his snooker cue for a pool cue after taking up a spot in the UK Open pool championship. The event takes place at the Copper Box Arena in London and Lisowski will have some familiar faces alongside him as fellow snooker players Gary Wilson and David Lilley will also be in the field. Joshua Filler won the event last year and is back to defend his crown.

Jack Lisowski has said he will need to learn on the job after accepting a place in the field for the UK Open pool championship.
Stars of nineball will descend on the Copper Box Arena in London from May 30 to June 4 for one of the biggest events in the sport.
As well as stars such as Albin Ouschan, Francisco Sanchez Ruiz and Shane van Boening, three snooker players will be in the field.
World No. 14 Lisowski will be joined by fellow green-baize players David Lilley and Gary Wilson, and the former is relishing the chance to pit his wits against the big names in pool.
“I am looking forward to it,” Lisowski said. “I think it’s a cool challenge and really like the look of the World Nineball Tour.
"Judd [Trump] had a go last year and he did okay. Hopefully, I can do better than him.
“Chances of winning – probably close to zero, but I am looking forward to it.
"At this stage, I am not sure about my pool skills, I will have to learn as I go. Hopefully, I’m a quick learner.”
It will be Wilson’s second appearance, at the UK Open, after being beaten by two-time world champion Ouschan 12 months ago.
“I haven’t played much since then but perhaps I’ve had less time on the table than last time,” Wilson said. “I will go to Glasgow for the Scottish Open to get some action. It will be a bit of a warm-up for me.
"I will try and enjoy it. I’ve got some experience in understanding what the tables are like, and I think that should help and I will know what to expect. I feel I could do some damage if I get it going.
"I like the prospect of doing something different and maybe I could earn some prize money on the World Nineball Rankings.”
Lisowski will take on Dan Suh, Wilson will face Joe Granville and Lilley has been paired with Scott Hunter in round one.
