Mark Williams draws Matthew Stevens in European Masters last 64, John Higgins to face Dylan Emery

Former world champions Mark Williams, John Higgins and Ken Doherty have discovered their opponents ahead of the last 64 of the European Masters in Nuremberg later this month. Williams was drawn against fellow Welshman Matthew Stevens with Higgins handed a meeting with Dylan Emery in the second round. 1997 world champion Doherty will face recent World Championship semi-finalist Si Jiahui.

2000 World Championship finalists Mark Williams and Matthew Stevens will meet in the last 64 of the European Masters, while John Higgins was handed a clash with former Welsh amateur champion Dylan Emery in Friday's draw.
Williams – who defeated his fellow Welshman Stevens 18-16 to claim the first of three Crucible title 23 years ago – enjoyed a 5-0 victory against Zhang Anda last week in the first qualifying round at the Morningside Arena in Leicester.
Stevens booked his trip to the German city of Nuremberg with a 5-3 success against Ukraine teenager Iulian Boiko.
1997 world champion Ken Doherty will face recent Crucible semi-finalist Si Jiahui at the season's second ranking event (August 22-27 live on Eurosport and discovery+).
Jack Lisowski will face Michael White in the last 64, while Jamie Jones and Ricky Walden will do battle.

12-time women’s world champion Reanne Evans has been handed a tough assignment against former Championship League winner David Gilbert in the chase for a last-32 spot.
First-round matches involving the top eight seeds – which include world champion Luca Brecel and world No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan – have been held over to the finals venue at the KIA Metropol Arena.
Kyren Wilson is defending the title he claimed with a 9-3 win over Barry Hawkins last year.
