The 2023 Northern Ireland Open is the second event in the season of snooker's Home Nations Series.
The tournament will be held at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, with qualifying taking place at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
The event will feature most of the top players in the world, including world No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan and in-form Judd Trump, who has won his last two tournaments.
However, Luca Brecel, Mark Selby, John Higgins, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and Ali Carter have withdrawn after entering an exhibition event in Macau, which was scheduled to coincide with the Northern Ireland Open but has now been postponed.

The 2023 Northern Ireland Open runs from October 22-29.
Qualifying is from October 17 to 20.

Who is playing in the Northern Ireland Open?

World No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan will be looking to win his first ranking event of the season in Belfast.
However, he could face strong competition from Judd Trump and Mark Allen.
Trump followed up his English Open victory by lifting the Wuhan Open title and will be aiming to keep his winning run going.
Allen has won the last two editions of his home tournament and will have his sights on a hat-trick.
Neil Robertson, Mark Williams, Kyren Wilson and Jimmy White are also playing.
Stephen Hendry, Marco Fu, Ken Doherty and Stephen Maguire are among those looking to qualify.

What is the Northern Ireland Open schedule?

Play will start at 10am UK time for the first round, with the evening sessions getting under way at 7pm.
All matches up to the quarter-finals will be best-of-seven frames. The quarters will be best-of-nine frames, the semi-finals best-of-11 frames, and the final will be best-of-17 frames.
The daily schedule is yet to be announced.
