Ronnie O'Sullivan, Luca Brecel and Judd Trump discover opening Scottish Open snooker opponents

The draw for the Scottish Open in Edinburgh has been made with Ronnie O'Sullivan handed a tournament opener against Glaswegian Liam Graham. World champion Luca Brecel, winner of the 2021 event, takes on Iulian Boiko of Ukraine with English Open and Wuhan Open champion Judd Trump up against Sydney Wilson. The Home Nations event runs between December 11-17 in the Scottish capital.

World No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan will face Scottish rookie Liam Graham in his opening match at this season's Scottish Open in Edinburgh.

The seven-time world champion meets Graham at Meadowbank Sports Centre, host venue for the second straight year, with the Home Nations ranking event live on Eurosport and discovery+ between 11-17 December.

World champion Luca Brecel was drawn with talented Ukraine player Iulian Boiko, while English Open and Wuhan Open champion Judd Trump takes on Sydney Wilson.

All the first-round matches are contested over the best of seven frames with the world's top 16 starting their respective campaigns at the finals venue alongside two matches involving local wild cards.

Qualifying takes place between October 30-2 November in Leicester with six-time world finalist Jimmy White drawn against Marco Fu in the round of 128.
