Judd Trump downed Neil Robertson 3-1 in the final of the latest Premier League snooker event in Exeter to maintain his perfect record in the competition.
Trump claimed victory for the second time in two outings to move onto 12 points and virtually assure his place in next month's play-offs.
Trump had to scrap in a tight first frame, which he took on the black 55-54 to steal a march on the 2010 world champion.
Robertson hit back in the second with a run of 30 but Trump upped his game in the final two frames, composing breaks of 59 and then 76 to seal victory.
"I’m very pleased to have won again. It’s such a high standard in the Premier League and all games are tough," said Trump.
"It’s always good when you have the luck and you need luck to beat top players but I still had to win the frame.
"I’m in a good position now and I can relax and just watch the others battle it out."
Robertson, who beat Shaun Murphy in the semi-finals, still won four points on the night, putting him in second place overall and in a good position to also qualify for the play-offs.
