Defending champion and world No 1 Mark Selby was stunned in the second round of the UK Championship, losing 6-3 to Scott Donaldson.
The 34-year-old, who was pushed all the way by outsider Basem Eltahhan in the first round, again struggled after going 2-0 up in the match.
Donaldson, who is ranked 66th in the world and hadn't won for 10 matches before this event, hit back and ended up taking the match following breaks of 90, 87, 77 and 84.

Neil Robertson is also in the third round after hitting back to beat Ken Doherty 6-2.
The Australian went 2-1 down but then hit three centuries on the trot on his way to the win.
He told the BBC: "It is showing how hard I have been practising for months and it is paying off. It is clicking for me and I am 100% focused on my snooker."
Meanwhile, Judd Trump was not in his best form, his highest break was only 61, but he still managed to ease past Chris Wakelin 6-0 to reach the third round.
