World Grand Prix snooker 2024 - Latest scores, results, schedule, order of play, Ronnie Allen and Judd Trump involved

The 2023/24 snooker season moves from Alexandra Palace in London to the Morningside Arena in Leicester for the World Grand Prix. Mark Allen heads to the East Midlands looking to defend his title after beating Judd Trump 10-9 in a pulsating final last year. World No. 1 Ronnie O'Sullivan is also in action among a host of big names, including Mark Selby, Barry Hawkins, Mark Williams and Ding Junhui.

The World Snooker Tour is set to go from London to Leicester for the World Grand Prix event at the Morningside Arena.
It is a tournament comprising the top 32 players on the one-year ranking list, and is one of three events that form part of the Players Series.
Those that finish in the top 16 will go into the Players Championship, while 12 players then compete in the Tour Championship that takes place later on this season.
Mark Allen was aiming to defend his title after the Northern Irishman prevailed past Judd Trump with an epic 10-9 victory last year but was toppled by Zhang Anda, while Ronnie O'Sullivan is hoping to win the tournament for a third time.
With the Masters concluding on January 14, with O'Sullivan winning it for an eighth time, the action got underway in Leicester a day later.

The tournament takes place at the Morningside Arena, stating on January 15. The final is on January 21.
