The order then remains the same, with Xerox Ducati's Troy Bayliss in provisional pole position. Ruben Zaus on the Sterilgarda Ducati remains beside him with championship leader James Toseland in third on his Hannspree Ten Kate Honda.
Yamaha Italia also have a place on the front row provisionally, Noriyuki Haga the man in fourth at the present time.
Later on Saturday the top sixteen riders go head-to-head from scratch in the Superpole, but from Roberto Rolfo in 17th down to Dean Ellsion of Great Britain in the last position of 23rd they are locked into their grid positions.
