Norway won two gold medals at the European swimming championships on Friday and dedicated each to Alex Dale Oen, the world champion who died suddenly last month.

Sara Nordenstam won the 200m breaststroke with an inspired swim and was clearly very emotional as she celebrated the victory.
Nordenstam then pointed to the Norway flag on her cap just as Dale Oen famously did when he won the 100m distance of the event in Shanghai last year. It was the country's first world title in swimming.
Ingvild Snildal then beat Sweden's Martina Granstroem by three-hundredths of a second in the 100m fly.
Snildal duly proceeded to point to Dale Oen's initials - "A.D.O" – which she had printed on her cap.
Meanwhile, Italy's Filippo Magnini beat Olympic champion Alain Bernard for gold in the 100m freestyle.
And Gergo Kis of Hungary claimed gold in the men’s 800m freestyle.
