Roger Federer v Gael Monfils postponed at 1-1 in sets

Roger Federer and Gael Monfils were at one set apiece when the decision was made to halt play for the day at the French Open.
Organisers made the decision to halt play due to darkness just as home favourite Monfils had clinched the second set to send the crowd into a frenzy.
That buzz was soon deflated by the decision to end today's action there and then, with the weather causing such delays that the contest between the Frenchman and the Swiss legend could not be completed in one day, and that two women's contests - including Maria Sharapova v Lucie Safarova - did not even start.
All of Sunday's unfinished tennis will begin or continue on Monday, where organisers and fans alike hope to catch up to the schedule without any more rain.
