Halep brushes aside Watson in Paris

The unseeded Brit had looked in fine form ahead of her second-round clash with Romanian Halep following her comfortable victory over Czech Republic's Barbora Zahlavova Strycova in the first round, but came up against the better player on Court Philippe Chatrier.

Halep was in control of much of the contest, and though Watson managed a couple of breaks of serve, it wasn't enough as the Romanian cruised into the third round.
