Andy Murray: I want to match Jamie's number 1 ranking

British tennis player Andy Murray wants to match his brother Jamie's number one ranking as he aims to defend his Madrid Masters title.
Andy Murray is currently the world number 2, and his old brother Jamie, 30, is number 1 one in doubles tennis.
While Andy is regarded as the more famous and talented brother, he envies Jamie's position and is aiming to finally sit at the top of the singles rankings himself.
Andy told the Madrid Masters’ official website:
"It would be incredible to reach the top of my sport.
"It's something you dream about since you were a child. My brother just got himself up to No. 1 in doubles, and it would be incredible to say we both reached the top position during our careers."
Murray goes to Madrid as defending champion, and is aiming to retain his title. He looked back on his victory over Rafael Nadal in last year's final:
"It was probably the best I've done on clay.
"I spent two weeks in Barcelona training, which helped with my tactics and movement. I won my first title on clay at Munich the week before, so I came with a lot of confidence to Madrid."
