Serbia’s Hamad Medjedovic took the coveted Next Gen ATP Finals crown by beating Arthur Fils in a five-set final. In a battle between two of the most promising young players on the tour, it was Medjedovic who came out on top against the 19-year-old Frenchman in a 3-4(6) 4-1 4-2 3-4(9) 4-1 win that took two hours and 11 minutes. It was the first five-set final in tournament history.
