Li seals semi-final spot

Sixth seed Li Na of China reached the French Open semi-finals with a commanding 7-5 6-2 win over Belarussian Victoria Azarenka.

Australian Open runner-up Li broke serve in the 12th game to pocket the opening set on court Philippe Chatrier.
She broke fourth seed Azarenka's serve again to open a 4-2 lead in the second and sealed the win on her opponent's serve on her third match point.
Li next meets former world number one Maria Sharapova after the seventh seed thrashed German Andrea Petkovic 6-0 6-3.
"This is a huge surprise for me," Li, a fighter on the court, said after her win put her in the last four.
