Eugenie Bouchard falls foul of crazy dress code on way out of Wimbledon

Wimbledon 2014 was Eugenie Bouchard's finest hour - but Wimbledon 2015 might just prove to be the lowest ever point of her career.
Last year's runner-up went out at the first hurdle against Chinese qualifier Ying-Ying Duan, the latest blow in an appalling year on the court which has seen her win just a handful of matches.
As if that wasn't enough, however, she fell foul of Wimbledon rules on Tuesday for - gasp! - daring to wear a black bra beneath her all-white gear.
It's not as if she wore some sort of sheer top through which the bra was visible, though. Instead, there was at times apparently just a small bit of strap showing - something which an eyewitness who happened to be there from the Eurosport office insisted was not visible from the stands.
You can just about see the tiny amount of black bra strap if you look closely around Bouchard's shoulder in the picture above.
But really, if Wimbledon's authorities think that it is any more offensive to the spirit of the tournament than, say, a logo or a pair of shoelaces, then they're even more out of touch with reality than we thought.
The Daily Mail reports that chair umpire Louise Engzell held a brief conversation with the tournament referee to decide what to do, with the bra having broken the rule stating that "any undergarments that either are or can be visible during play (including due to perspiration) must be completely white."
But they decided to be lenient, and the Canadian was spared an official sanction and the fine that would have gone with it.
"No one told me anything about my bra," the player said after the match.
