Martina Hingis turns back clock to become Grand Slam doubles champion at 34

Martina Hingis and Sania Mirza won the women's doubles title with a 5-7 7-6 7-5 victory over Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina on Centre Court.

Hingis - a year older than the women's singles champion Serena Williams - lifted the title 18 years after she defeated Jan Novotna to win the WImbledon title as a 16-year-old in 1997.
The five-times Grand Slam champion won the doubles at Wimbledon in 1996 with Helena Sukova and 1998 when she teamed up with Novotna.
She has the chance of a unique double when she and Leander Paes face No.5 seeds Alexander Peya and Timea Babos in the final of the mixed doubles on Sunday.
