World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has been drawn against Lin Zhu in the first round of this year's Wimbledon Grand Slam. Aryna Sabalenka has been draw against Panna Udvardy after missing last year's tournament due to the exclusion of Russian and Belarusian players. Last year's winner and current world No. 3 Elena Rybakina will meet Shelby Rogers in her first tie.

Iga Swiatek will face Lin Zhu in the first round of Wimbledon, with Aryna Sabalenka due to face Panna Udvardy of Hungary.
The world No. 1 and No. 2 will be huge favourites to progress deep into the later stages, with their initial draws easy match-ups, at least on paper.
At the same time as the draw, Swiatek pulled out of her participation at Bad Homburg due to "fever and possible food poisoning," but did not mention if her Wimbledon plans would be affected.
Last year's winner and world No. 3, Elena Rybakina, has perhaps the toughest draw of the top three as she will come up against America’s Shelby Rogers.
Jessica Pegula faces her American compatriot Lauren Davis, while the remaining top-five player Carolina Garcia takes on Katie Volynets.
Venus Williams will return, with the 43-year-old drawn against Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in what is one of the most intriguing ties of round one.
At the other end of the scale, 16-year-old Mirra Andreeva takes on China's Wang Xiyu.
Britain’s Harriet Dart plays Diane Parry, Jodie Burrage meets Caty McNally, Heather Watson will take on Barbora Krejcikova, and Katie Boulter comes up against Daria Saville.
If matches go according to ranking then Swiatek would be on course to meet Coco Gauff, Pegula to face Garcia, Rybakina to meet Ons Jabeur, and Maria Sakkari would face Sabalenka.
This year Russian and Belarusian will be permitted to compete after they were excluded from last year's event due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, though the display of Russian flags will remain prohibited at SW19.
