Russian teenager Olga Poutchkova knocked out seventh seed Nicole Pratt of Australia to enter the quarter-finals of the Kolkata Open on Thursday.

The 85th-ranked Poutchkova, who turns 19 on Wednesday, wasted four match points in the decider before defeating her 33-year-old rival 6-2 2-6 6-2.
Indian teenager Sania Mirza, the fifth seed, kept home fans happy despite a sluggish display in beating hard-hitting German Sandra Kloesel 7-5 6-3.
Mirza faces Aravane Rezai of France, the fourth seed, in the last eight with the winner most likely to run into former world number one Martina Hingis in the semi-finals.
The Swiss top-seed next plays Thailand's Tamarine Tanasugarn.
Asian Games champion Iroda Tulyaganova of Uzbekistan kept up her strong comeback after a prolonged injury layoff following elbow surgery.
The 24-year-old former world number 16, a qualifier, brushed aside Australia's Casey Dellacqua 6-3 6-2.
