Ferrari claimed victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday, and Charles Leclerc admitted afterwards that he dreams of one day taking part. Appearing at the event in support of his Formula 1 team, Leclerc revealed in an exclusive interview with Eurosport that racing Le Mans is on his bucket list. With Ferrari having broken a 58-year drought this year, Leclerc could be the next to leave his mark.

‘I would love to’ - Leclerc says he wants to compete at Le Mans

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was only in attendance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans to support his manufacturer team-mates, but gave Eurosport a revelation: that he dreams of one day taking part.
The Monegasque racer spoke to Eurosport shortly after Ferrari ended their 58-year drought at the 24-hour endurance event, admitting that he had been inspired by his team-mates.
"It feels absolutely amazing obviously, especially having a Ferrari winning it's incredible. It's incredible, a return after so many years," he said.
Leclerc then went further, admitting that he too would like to be involved as a driver in the future.
"I mean, why not? Why not? I would love to, it's an incredible event. For sure, one day in my life I want to tick that box. When will it be I don't know," he said.
The Monegasque was there to witness Ferrari's #51 car, piloted by James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi, claim the win for Ferrari on the team's return to the event 50 years after their last participation.
Leclerc, still only 25, remains focused on a Formula 1 season in which he has had some mixed results.
After failing to finish two of the first three races of the season, Leclerc ran third in Azerbaijan and put up solid performances in Miami and Monaco before a disappointing race in Barcelona last week.
Leclerc also faces potential competition for his seat in the near future after Max Verstappen's comments last week that he would consider a switch to Ferrari.
