Feltscher's Switzerland faced off against Russia for the gold medal in Champery, an eager Swiss crowd watching on in anticipation having seen their compatriots already crowned world champions in 2014.
And Feltscher didn't disappoint, opening up an 8-4 lead in the eighth end before going on to see the game out 8-7 to claim victory.
It is only the fifth time in history that a women's curling team has held both the world and European titles in the same year, all of which left Feltscher pinching herself.
"It's incredible to be the World Champion and the European Champion all in the same year," she said.
"The game was perfect for us. We didnt make too many mistakes and the ones that we did make were very small.
"After we got the four points in the eighth end, we made sure we stayed focused because the game is only over after ten ends.
"To win the World Championship in Canada was very, very nice, but to win the European Championship here in Switzerland is the greatest."
