With two wins and two losses so far, Scotland took on Hungary in their fifth round-robin game on Monday afternoon.
The Hungarians got off to positive start by using their last stone advantage to score one in the opening end but after that the Scots piled on the pressure, levelling with game with one before stealing three in the third, one in the fourth, and two in the fifth end to take a 7-1 lead into the break.
Hungary then hit back to cut the lead to 7-3 but Muirhead held firm in the eighth, drawing her last stone into the house to score two – the Hungarians promptly conceding at 9-3.
"We're definitely back on track," said Muirhead. "We need to get away from this inconsistency of good games then bad games.
"But we've had more good games and we're sitting on three and two so we're right in the mix. I'm pleased with that.
"You've got to take every game as it comes, but Sarah's playing great, Vicky had a fantastic game – she hardly missed a shot, Anna's playing well, so when everyone plays well in front of me, it makes my job kind of easy."
Hosts Denmark kept up their winning streak with an 8-1 win over Sweden to sit top of the rankings while Russia suffered their first lost after a 9-7 reverse to Norway.
Meanwhile Switzerland beat Estonia 10-5 and Finland beat Germany 12-5.
