After SS9: Kopecký regains Zlín initiative on final ERC stage of the day

Jan Kopecký will end the first leg of Barum Czech Rally Zlín with a half-second lead over Alexey Lukyanuk after getting back ahead of the Russian on the final stage of the day in the FIA European Rally Championship.

Factory ŠKODA driver and 2013 European Champion Kopecký was 1.7 seconds faster than Lukyanuk on the 11.51-kilometre Semetin test.

Further back, Jaromír Tarabus jumped ahead of fellow Czech driver Jan Cerný for fifth place.
