Sixth of the best in ERC for Klausz

Krisóf Klausz’s strong end to the 2017 FIA ERC Junior Under 27 Championship continued when he finished sixth in class on Rally Liepāja.

After placing fifth on Rally di Roma Capitale last month, Klausz ended his 2017 campaign with another top-six finish in the Pirelli-shod Peugeot 208 R2 he shares with co-driver Botond Csányi.

“It was quite okay, we had a mistake on the last stage in a fifth-gear corner. We go off the road and it was a problem, we were lucky,” Klausz said at the finish of Rally Liepāja.

While his plans for 2018 are unconfirmed, the Hungarian says he is keen to return to ERC Junior Under 27.
