There will be two drivers for Jarek Szeja to Czech out when he makes his second start in the FIA European Rally Championship his week.
Pole Szeja is in the battle for third place in the Czech championship standings but needs to out-score Jan Černý in order to secure the position.

He’s also a huge fan of Roman Kresta having travelled to Barum Czech Rally Zlín in the past to watch the Czech rally legend compete.

“The magic of Barum Rally can be compared only with the level of challenge this event offers,” said Szeja. “After switching from a Group N Subaru to R5 machinery it is going to be a basically a new event for us. The key difficulty will be to use this car’s capabilities as good as we only can in an event where top crews drive with stunning pace. Without any doubt this is going to be one of toughest challenges in our career so far.

“Of course we are going to fight hard for a good result, but at the same time we must keep our heads cool. This event has score coefficient 1,5 in Czech championship which means we can score a lot of points here, which may be vital for the results of our campaign. There is a lot to win, but a lot to loose at the same time.”
