Bayern Munich dismiss Sami Khedira rumour

Bayern Munich have insisted there is no truth whatsoever in suggestions they have agreed a pre-contract with Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira.

It was reported earlier this week that Khedira had already agreed to move to the current Bundesliga leaders at the end of his Madrid deal, which expires in the summer.

“The rumours are 0% real,” the club’s sporting director, Markus Horwick, said.

Khedira, who helped Germany to World Cup glory this summer, has also been linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea.

The midfielder is out of favour at Real Madrid but an injury to Luka Modric could see him regain his place under Carlo Ancelotti.

Modric has been ruled out for three months with a torn thigh muscle.
