Ipswich Town are continuing to hold contract talks with their striker Alan Lee.
The Republic of Ireland international, who was the Tractor Boys' top scorer last season, has only one year left on his current deal at Portman Road.
Lee, 28, has been the subject of two bids from Hull City this month, but both have been rejected as Town are keen to keep hold of their best players to aid their promotion push next season.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton told the club's official website: "Alan was our top scorer with 17 last season and is an important part of the squad.
"He has worked hard during the summer and looks sharp. He is certainly very much in my plans for the new season.
"We are obviously aware that he is in the last year of his contract. The club have been in discussions with him about a deal and those discussions are ongoing.
"We have not received any more bids for the player and I'm delighted about that because it means he will be an Ipswich Town player at the start of the season."
