Norwich City are back in the Premier League only a year after being relegated to the Championship after beating Middlesbrough 2-0 in the play-off final at Wembley.
Both sides had rattled the bar in the opening ten minutes before two goals in three minutes, first from Cameron Jerome and then Nathan Redmond, rocked Boro.
Middlesbrough had beaten Norwich twice in the regular season but they failed to create any chances of note in a strangely subdued display. Defeat for Aitor Karanka's side means that the wait continues - they have not seen Premier League action since 2009.
But for Norwich and manager Alex Neil, an estimated £120m windfall awaits to build for next season as they join second-tier champions Bournemouth and runners-up Watford in the top flight.

KEY MOMENTS

9’ – BORO HIT THE BAR! Thirty seconds later, the ball is rattling the woodwork again, this time a lovely strike from Vossen has Ruddy beaten as it crashes back off the woodwork.
12’ – GOAL! Norwich 1-0 Middlesbrough. It’s a defensive error from Ayala who loses out to Cameron Jerome, who runs in on goal before beating Dimi at his near post.

KEY STATS
Cameron Jerome’s goal was the second fastest in the last 12 years of the playoff final
Boro have now failed to win in four appearances at Wembley.
Norwich have won only two of their last 13 matches against Middlesbrough in all competitions, having drawn five and lost six.
TALKING POINT
A true team effort. It's hard to find a single Norwich payer to have a poor game as they dominated Middlesbrough in every aspect of the game.
