Southampton lose Sadio Mane for 4-6 weeks

Southampton's Sadio Mane is out for a month after getting injured during the 2-0 win win over Arsenal on New Year's Day.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman confirmed after the FA Cup match against Ipswich on Sunday that the Senegalese forward is out for four to six weeks with a calf injury, and will therefore miss the African Cup of Nations.

Mane scored the opening goal against the Gunners on Thursday, but limped off just before half-time.

Mane joined Southampton in the summer from Red Bull Salzburg and has made 16 appearances, scoring four goals.
