Still an Atletico Madrid player, the 19-year-old is set to complete a move across the city to the Bernabeu once his €26m release clause is officially triggered.
"I'm excited, thrilled to play alongside the best players in the world," Theo, who is currently on holiday, is quoted as saying by Marca.
"It is a dream come true ever since I was a little boy."

The French youth international – who is hoping of making the switch to Spain – played 38 matches on loan at Alaves last season, helping them to a top-half finish and the Copa Del Rey final.
An exciting full-back, Theo is widely believed to be the long-term successor to Marcelo at left-back.
He continues a recent change of policy from Real of signing younger players, or promoting from the academy, to form a part of the squad.

The current Real squad contains Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio, Alvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, Kiko Casilla, Iso and Ruben Yanez a group of seven who either came through the academy or who were signed as youngsters.
Further more, the likes of Marcos Llorente and Jesus Vallejo have impressed on loan and could be part of the Real first team sooner rather than later.
