A stunning goal from Stuart Armstrong helped Celtic beat Hamilton 3-0 on Saturday and preserve their 13-match winning streak.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers made a few changes to his team as he looked to keep everyone fresh ahead of the Old Firm derby on New Year's Eve.
Leigh Griffiths came into the side and it was he who opened the scoring with a fine finish from Callum McGregor's through ball in the first half.
Minutes after the restart McGregor was shown a red card for a second bookable offence much to the dismay of his team-mates and the Celtic bench, with the 23-year-old appearing to pull out of an innocuous challenge.
Still, that didn't deter the champions as Armstrong fired in an unstoppable shot from 25 yards to double the lead.
Substitute Moussa Dembele sealed the win in the final 10 minutes with his 18th goal of the season.
Celtic stay 14 points clear ahead of the derby. Rangers defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-0 at Ibrox.
