Harrison Reed was handed his first Premier League start in Southampton's Premier League clash against Everton.

The 19-year-old midfielder was one of five changes from the midweek loss at Sheffield United, while Graziano Pelle and Steven Davis were both passed fit to start.

A number of inexperienced players were named amongst the Saints substitutes and Everton brought in Samuel Eto'o and Gareth Barry for Aiden McGeady and Kevin Mirallas.
