Eurosport: You managed to to make life difficult for Canada...
Giulio Scandella: We started very hard. They just arrived yesterday for the competition so it was important for us to start by attacking a lot in their slot. The first period was ok. And after, they've had some powerplays and they scored.
Q: In the second period, Canada made the difference?
Yes, like I said, they are very strong on powerplays. And their players are good shooters too. If you give them an inch of space, they score. That's what happened here.
Q: To put Canada in difficulty on the first period and being able to equalize. It should help you and give you confidence for the future?
Yes, that's for sure the game we did today [Wednesday] is a great game for us and for our future games, this is good. We will be more confident against the other teams. That's what this game brought us.
