With a top-ten World Cup overall finish under her belt, skeleton slider Laura Deas is hoping the experience of a competitive run on the PyeongChang track will help ahead of next year's Olympic Games.

Deas finished equal ninth in the final World Cup race of the season, which took place on the track to be used at PyeongChang 2018.
And the 28-year-old will be out to build on that result next February, having secured sixth place in the overall World Cup standings this season.
"It's been great to get out to Pyeongchang and see the venue and the track ahead of the Olympics. It definitely gave me a real buzz from the moment I got there," said Deas.
"Spending the time on what is a new track is obviously invaluable but it's more than that - it's about getting a feel for the place.
"It gives you an idea of what it will be like next year and it's been another reminder to me of just how badly I want to be back here for the Olympics.
"When I'm in the middle of a tough gym or sprints session or when I'm out on the push track in Bath, I'll be able to picture PyeongChang and I've no doubt that they will spur me on throughout what is such an important summer." Sportsbeat 2017
