Canada's Mirela Rahneva won the World Cup race, with Amelia Coltman securing Great Britain's third medal of the day at the Sigulda meeting in Latvia. Coltman's superb effort came just two hours after Marcus Wyatt beat team-mate Matt Weston to become champion in the men's event. Amelia Coltman produced two excellent runs to win Great Britain's third European Championship medal, with bronze in Sigulda.
Just two hours after Marcus Wyatt beat team-mate Matt Weston to become champion in the men's event, Coltman completed the set on a medal-filled day for Britain.
She finished fourth overall at the World Cup race, but was the third-best European on a weekend that is doubling up as the continental championship.
Coltman produced the fourth and fifth fastest runs in a consistent performance to finish just 0.39s off the winning time set by Mirela Rahneva.
The Canadian leapt from third to first with a brilliant second run, winning the World Cup event from Belgium's Kim Meylemans - who is the new European champion - and Germany's Hannah Neise.
