Race officials had first delayed the downhill leg and lowered its start but fog on the upper part of the course made it impossible to stage the race.
A super-combined event comprises a downhill and a slalom leg staged on the same day. The skier with the best combined time wins.
In the Italian resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo, a women's World Cup giant slalom got underway 15 minutes late because of fog on the course.
Weather problems have plagued the World Cup this season, with many European races moved or called off.
Kitzbuehel's classic 'Streif' downhill has been scrapped from next weekend's men's World Cup programme after a storm damaged the piste.
The Austrian ski resort was due to stage a downhill, a slalom and a super-G but both speed events have been cancelled after rain and strong winds ruined the course.
There will now be just two slaloms on January 27th and 28th.
The speed events were unlikely to be rescheduled before next month's world championships in Are, ski officials said. That means Saturday's downhill in Val d'Isere, won by Frenchman Pierre-Emmanuel Dalcin, is likely to have been the last speed event before the championships.
