Marco Odermatt returned to winning form with his ninth FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup victory of the season in the super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
The Swiss superstar finished fourth on Saturday but dominated proceedings the following day in Germany, taking top spot with a time of 1:10.13 to finish 0.3 seconds clear of Austria's Raphael Haaser.
Odermatt's compatriot Franjo von Allmen completed the podium, just ahead of Vincent Kriechmayr in fourth.
"It was a different race today," said Odermatt. "The snow was better than yesterday and like this I also could push."
He added: "If you win a race it's always good for the standings but still two more to go, it's not done yet, but for sure it's a big step ahead."
"The snow was better than yesterday and like this I also could push," he added.
The win cements Odermatt's place at the top of the super-G World Cup standings, now on 390 points from five races and 121 clear of Kriechmayr.
And his bid for a third successive overall World Cup title remains as on track as ever, with nearest rival Cyprien Sarrazin, who trailed by 622 points before this race, failing to finish.
Action now heads to Chamonix, although the two downhill events there have been cancelled due to unfavourable snow conditions with just the slalom race set to take place.
