'Another masterclass' - Odermatt tops Super-G standings in Bormio

Marco Odermatt continued his early dominance of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup with men's Super-G victory in Bormio, Italy.
Odermatt now sits top of all but one of the World Cup standings, including the overall leaderboard where he boasts a 172-point lead over Marco Schwarz after his fourth win of the season in Italy.
The Swiss skier posted a time of 1:27.72 to triumph by almost a second ahead of Raphael Haaser, who was a further 0.33 seconds ahead of Aleksander Aamodt Kilde in third.
Odermatt was fasted in three of the four sectors en route to a commanding victory, with Vincent Kriechmayr the only other athlete to clock the sector-fastest time.
The Austrian took victory in the opening Super-G race of the season in Val Gardena a fortnight ago but could only finish fourth this time to relinquish top spot in the discipline standings to Odermatt.
Compatriot Haaser recovered from a sluggish opening sector to storm home for his first podium of the season, while Aamodt Kilde returned to top three to move above Kriechnmayer and into third in the overall standings.
