Swiss star Marco Odermatt was the class of the field to make it six giant slalom victories from six in the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup. The 26-year-old dominated the first run in Bulgaria to lead by 0.35 seconds from Norway's Alexander Steen Olsen. And he was even quicker the second time around, eventually crossing the line 0.91 seconds clear of Steen Olsen to take the win.

'You run out of superlatives' - Odermatt secures ninth consecutive World Cup win

Marco Odermatt remains untouchable in giant slalom after securing his sixth FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup win of the season in the discipline in as many races.
The Swiss superstar dominated the first run in Bansko, Bulgaria, to lead by 0.35 seconds from Norway's Alexander Steen Olsen.
And the second time around he was by far the quickest of the late starters, eventually crossing the line 0.91 seconds clear of Steen Olsen to take the win.
It is the 26-year-old’s 10th World Cup win of the season in all, with the overall crystal globe all but secure already with Odermatt more than 800 points clear in the standings.
His perfect record in the giant slalom should see him add a third small crystal globe in that discipline, with Odermatt currently top of the standings in three individual disciplines, as well as the overall.
For 22-year-old Steen Olsen, it was the second podium of his career, and first in giant slalom.
Austria’s Manuel Feller came home in third, 0.17 seconds behind the Norwegian.
