Kobe stars against Sonics

Kobe Bryant shook off the rust of having not practised for three days by scoring 20 points in the Los Angeles Lakers 126-106 exhibition win over Seattle on Thursday.
Bryant, who has asked the Lakers to trade him, erupted for 16 points in the final quarter and was backed up by Andrew Bynum who scored 19 points and added 10 rebounds.
Bryant requested a trade over the summer and owner Jerry Buss revealled recently that he is willing to listen to offers for Bryant and would deal the superstar if he could get enough in return.
Bryant shot six-of-11 from the field, including two-of-three from three-point range.
Brian Cook also scored 19 points for Los Angeles who did not dress forward Lamar Odom because of his injured shoulder.
Seattle shot 50 percent (44-of-87) from the field and committed 18 turnovers.
