Anthony Davis recorded statistics which had never been seen before in the NBA to inspire the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. He became the first player to reach at least 25 points, 25 rebounds, five assists, five steals and three blocks in a single game, while LeBron James pitched in with 29 points of his own.

Anthony Davis inspired the Los Angeles Lakers to a 120-109 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday evening, after making NBA history.
The 31-year-old became the first player to record at least 25 points, 25 rebounds, five assists, five steals and three blocks in a single game, in a devastating display.
Davis finished with 27 points but that tally was eclipsed by LeBron James, who pitched in with 29 points of his own as the Lakers secured a 12th win in their last 17 games.
The Timberwolves were without two of their biggest stars, Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns, and Davis made the most of that advantage by becoming just the eighth player since the 1982-83 season to finish with at least 25 points, 25 rebounds and five assists in one game, matching an achievement Nikola Jokic managed last season.
“When we’re out there having fun, everybody’s confidence is high,” said Davis in quotes published by AP.
“When we’re talking trash to the other team, we’re holding each other accountable, and we’re just playing in the right way. We know what it takes.
“It’s about having consistency of playing that way each and every night”.
The Milwaukee Bucks edged closer to clinching their post season spot, as Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo both racked up double-doubles in a 124-117 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Lillard scored 35 points and provided 11 assists, with Antetokounmpo almost matching that achievement with 34 points and 10 assists.
The victory leaves the Bucks second in the Eastern Conference after ending a two-game losing streak.
It was a low scoring encounter at Madison Square Garden, where the Philadelphia 76ers reduced the New York Knicks to the lowest points total in the NBA this season, edging past 79-73.
A dire first quarter contributed towards a half-time score of 37-31 at half-time - the lowest score at that stage of a match in almost five years.
At the other end of the scale, the league’s highest scorers - the Indiana Pacers - glided to a 111-97 win over the Orlando Magic, with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam both scoring 20 points.
At the top of the Western Conference, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 23 points and recorded six assists inside just three quarters as leaders the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Memphis Grizzlies 124-93.
