The Warriors' 27th straight win at Oracle Arena this season was their 45th in a row at home dating back to January 2015, allowing them to surpass the previous record of 44, set by the Chicago Bulls from March 30, 1995, to April 4, 1996.
Coming off a game in which they combined to shoot 1-for-18 from 3-point range, Curry (7-for-13) and Thompson (5-for-11) combined for 12 treys in helping the Warriors soothe the sting of their 112-95 road defeat to the Los Angeles on Sunday.
The Warriors (56-6) hit 16 of their 35 3-point attempts Monday, outscoring the Magic 48-15 from beyond the arc.
Curry finished with 41 points and Thompson added 27 as the Warriors extended their season-opening streak of not having experienced back-to-back losses to 62 games.
The Warriors are now 15-1 in second game of back-to-back sets this season.

Curry, who poured in 51 points in a 130-114 win at Orlando last month, became the first player in NBA history to make 300 3-pointers when he connected on his sixth of the night, a step-back 24-footer, during a 13-4 flurry late in the third period that put the Warriors in a seemingly commanding position.
Curry (three), reserve Brandon Rush (two) and Thompson (one) combined for six 3-pointers in the first period, during which Golden State built a 13-point lead.
Orlando, who would up taking a sixth consecutive loss to Golden State, got within four on one occasion in the second quarter.
Curry saved some of his best for the end. He had three consecutive Warriors hoops to stave off Orlando's fourth-quarter rally, capped by his seventh 3-pointer to push the Golden State lead to 109-100 with 3:58 to go.
The Magic did make one more push, closing within 111-109 with 1:13 to play on five points from reserve guard Brandon Jennings and from Victor Oladipo.

However, Thompson turned a broken play into his fifth 3-pointer from the right corner with 52.5 seconds left, and the Warriors held on for their record-setting win.
Rush finished with 11 points, Draymond Green had 10 rebounds and nine assists on a one-point night, and Andrew Bogut amassed 10 rebounds, six assists and four points for the Warriors, who were tipping off a six-game homestand.
Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier and Jennings had 20 points apiece for the Magic, who began a stretch in which they play nine of 11 on the road.
Gordon also had 16 rebounds for Orlando (27-35). The Magic sit five games out of the final playoff spot in the East.
Oladipo added 19 points and Jason Smith 13 for the Magic, who were coming off 102-84 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

Round-up

Grizzlies 106, Cavaliers 103
Tony Allen returned from a knee injury to score a season-high 26 points, and the Memphis Grizzlies stunned the Cleveland Cavaliers for a 106-103 victory Monday night despite playing short-handed.
The Grizzlies were without five rotation players, including their three best, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley and Zach Randolph, yet they still managed to beat the best team the East. The Cavs committed a season-high 25 turnovers and didn't seem to fully engage until the fourth quarter.
Hornets 108, Timberwolves 103
Kemba Walker continued his torrid shooting, and the Charlotte Hornets won their fifth consecutive game with a 108-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.
Walker scored 34 points, his third straight game of 30-plus points and his 11th 30-point outburst of the season. He shot 12-for-20 from the field, hitting six of nine 3-point attempts.
Pacers 99, Spurs 91
Monta Ellis scored 26 points, including 21 in the second half, and the Indiana Pacers defeated the San Antonio Spurs 99-91 on Monday night.
The Spurs (53-10) had an eight-game winning streak snapped and were without coach Gregg Popovich, who was home with an ailing family member.
Paul George added 23 points for the Pacers (34-30), including two free throws with 15.7 seconds remaining to give Indiana a 97-91 lead.
Bucks 100, Bulls 90
Jimmy Butler didn't play, but the Chicago Bulls picked up the slack without their leading scorer to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 100-90 Monday night at the United Center.
Pau Gasol led the way for the Bulls (32-30) with his second triple-double of the season. Gasol, 35, finished with 12 points, 17 rebounds (all defensive) and 13 assists to help compensate for the loss of Butler, who had 24 points and 11 rebounds Saturday against the Houston Rockets in his return from a left knee sprain.
Pelicans 115, Kings 112
Dante Cunningham nailed a go-ahead 3-pointer from the right corner and guard Jrue Holiday hit a 17-foot jumper in the final 36 seconds to lift the New Orleans Pelicans to a 115-112 victory over the Sacramento Kings Monday night at the Smoothie King Center.
The Kings, who blew a 17-point, second-half lead, cut the New Orleans advantage to 113-112 with a layup by Rudy Gay with eight seconds left, but guard Norris Cole made two free throws to extend the Pelicans' lead to 115-112 with seven seconds remaining.
Clippers 109, Mavericks 90
Chris Paul scored 23 of his game-high 27 points in the second half and he singlehandedly outscored the Dallas Mavericks in an explosive third quarter to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 109-90 victory Monday at American Airlines Center.
The Clippers, now 14-3 in their last 17 road games, rode the hot shooting of J.J. Reddick and the interior dominance of DeAndre Jordan to stay close in the first half, and then the veteran All-Star point guard took over the game. Paul scored 18 points in the third quarter, while the Mavs managed just 16 in a game that actually had 18 ties and 16 lead changes.
