Matthew Forde was excellent on his international debut to inspire West Indies to a 2-1 ODI series win over struggling England. The hosts won by four wickets, shrugging off rain to reach their revised target of 188 runs from 34 overs under turbulent weather conditions. Disappointed England captain Jos Buttler told TNT Sports: "This is the start of a long journey for this side.”

Matthew Forde shone on his international debut to help West Indies beat England by four wickets in the third ODI, as the hosts won the series 2-1.
Rain hampered play throughout the day at the Kensington Oval in Barbados which delayed the action by two hours. But once the match was underway, Forde was in devastating form to take three early wickets on his international debut - removing Phil Salt, Zak Crawley and Will Jacks.
England struggled and slumped to 49-5, only for Ben Duckett to pull his team back into contention with 71 from 73 balls as England posted 206-9 from 40 overs.
More turbulent weather delayed the hosts' revised chase of 188 from 34 overs but once play resumed, Keacy Carty steadied the West Indies ship following the departure off Brandon King in the second over off with an impressive half-century.
However, as West Indies looked to close in on victory, Jacks stepped in to take 3 for 22 and up the intensity, giving England a glimmer of hope as the match entered its nervy conclusion.
The momentum shifted in West Indies' favour following a costly over from Gus Atkinson as the hosts racked up a game-changing 24 runs.
Romario Shepherd helped to close out the win as he finished unbeaten on 41 from 28 balls, sharing an unbroken partnership of 56 with Forde, as West Indies claimed the series win.
Speaking on TNT Sports, England captain Jos Buttler - who fell for a golden duck as his poor trot with the bat continued - said: "This is the start of a long journey for this side.
“There are some young guys who have got their first taste of ODI cricket and have hopefully learned a lot and we can build something for the future."
Former skipper Alastair Cook believes that one disappointing moment for England cost them when Liam Livingstone shelled a chance to remove Shepherd.
"That catch from Liam Livingstone on the boundary changed the game," he said on TNT Sports. "Yes, it's tricky on the boundary under lights, but these guys play a lot under lights. That was the moment when the game changed.
“If he had taken that catch England would have been heavy favourites. But then Shepherd got that life and from that one ball the game was lost six balls later."
On their victory, West Indies’ debutant and player of the match Forde added: "Obviously getting a victory is a dream come true on debut.
“It was special for me. I am 21 and I'm living the dream."
It is the first time since 1998 that West Indies - who failed to qualify for the World Cup in India - had secured a home series win over England in the format.
After a quick turnaround, England will have a chance to hit back when both teams meet for a five-match T20 series - live on TNT Sports.
The series begins in two days, on Tuesday, December 12 and will also take place in Barbados.
