Who has qualified for the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-finals? What's the schedule? When are India and Australia playing? When is the final? The tournament is nearing its conclusion with four teams set to compete in the semi-finals this week. Defending champions England are out after a miserable group campaign that saw them win just three of their nine matches.

The 2023 Cricket World Cup is reaching the business end with the semi-finals upon us.
England's defence ended in the group stages, while India advanced with a perfect record of nine wins from nine matches.

Who has qualified for the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-finals?

Australia advanced to the semi-finals, but put their fans through the wringer in beating Afghanistan.
It looked bad for Australia at 91-7 in pursuit of 292, but a brilliant double-century from Glenn Maxwell led them to victory and a place in the last four.
Hosts India were the first team to qualify for the semi-finals when they hammered Sri Lanka by 302 runs to keep their perfect record with seven wins from seven.
The home nation then guaranteed themselves top spot in the table with a crushing victory over South Africa.
South Africa qualified a day earlier without playing, but will be licking their wounds after their defeat to a Virat Kohli-inspired India. They will take on Australia in the final four.
New Zealand qualified after a thumping five-wicket win over Sri Lanka in Bangalore, and they will face India.

When are the 2023 Cricket World Cup semi-finals?

The first semi-final between India and New Zealand is on Wednesday, November 15, starting at 8.30am UK time.
The second semi-final between Australia and South Africa is on Thursday, November 16, starting at 8.30am UK time.

When is the 2023 Cricket World Cup final?

The final will be played on Sunday, November 19. It will start at 8.30am UK time.

Who is out?

Bangladesh were the first team to be eliminated, and were joined out of the exit door by England.
Sri Lanka hopes were officially ended after their three-wicket defeat to Bangladesh, while defeat to England put paid to the slim last-four chances of the Netherlands.
They were joined by Pakistan after they lost to England in the last game of the round-robin stage, with Afghanistan also out.

ICC Champions Trophy qualification

Pakistan have automatically qualified for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy as hosts. They are joined by the seven other highest finishers from the group stages of the 2023 World Cup.
England's win over Pakistan helped them to secure seventh spot.
